We're going back to the start...
Well a quote from Chris Martin is all well and good but what I really should say here we go again......
Been to the gym today new programme written and tried and I even tried a little tentative jog on the dodgy knee, it held out thank god. Anyway I got weighed and I've got 66 lbs to lose. No date to work towards just slow and steady, I'm gonna be the tortoise in this particular race. I'm off to the sunny climbs of Majorca in a couple of weeks. I was planning on waiting til I got back to begin a plan etc etc blah blah blah all the old words coming out of my mouth that I always use...tomorrow.....after that....when I've been...done...etc and so on. Well that's no good is it, non-starting is worse than non-completing. Please I hope this is going to be the last time I start without following through

Oh Divorce
Well I have completed something. My divorce papers, signed paid and delivered to the courts. The turn around at my local court is amazing 2 days and the papers were served to my soon to be ex- and another 2 days and he has filed his.....the rest is out of my hands just got to wait for the next set of papers to arrive then the Judge gets his say. The end of a marriage is for me a celebration, it's a time to be able to move forward to get on with my life my own way without a ghost in the corner. I know I'll feel that a bit more of me is back...another portion closer to being complete. Over the next week I'm going to carry a notebook around the house and I'm making the definitive list of what needs doing. I'll let you know how it goes.

Where do I begin?
While I was I'll a few days ago I found myself wandering around my house looking for something to do other than lie on the sofa feeling sorry for myself. It quickly became obvious that I am a serial non-completer. I started to make a list of things that I have started and not finished and in less than an hour I discovered the following......
6 books partly read
2 pieces of knitting incomplete
2 crochet blankets in pieces
1 Kitchen ceiling half plastered
1 garden barely touched
1 garage half cleared
1 loft full of rubbish half stacked half chaos
1 spare room full of stuff needing a home either mine or someone else's
5 magazines in various states of being thumbed
7 various games unplayed or half played
1 diary for each of the last 10 years filled in until February/march/January
1 notepad containing lists of things I must do
1 set of divorce papers not filled in
Several diet books unread several diet clubs joined and left within a week.....
And frankly on it goes, so I concluded that I am a total and utter non-completer. Apparently I'll be a lot happier if I start to finish everything I've been neglecting. I suppose starting with completing myself should be a priority but looking at my life it generally is the thing that is left behind.
I'm going to blog my journey and if no one else but me reads itso be it but I'm hoping by putting it out there for the whole world if they want I'll find focus and actually do it.
I have started with contacting my ex- discussing and agreeing the divorce and today I have completed the papers, written the cheque and posted it at the court.......here we go people
